Another Lisbon Entrepreneurship Week is starting. From September 21st to 27th, the city unites its entrepreneurial ecosystem in the 9th edition of the event, which this year focuses on sustainability and the recovery of the city’s economy. SOL Tomorrow Program – 2nd wave of applications
Applications for the second wave of SOL Tomorrow program are still open until September 2. Organized by Câmara Municipal de Lisboa and Betai, with the partnership of 200M Fund and Social Innovation Fund, both managed by PME Investimentos, the program is focused on finding startups providing innovative solutions in the response to the social and economic challenges that the city of Lisbon, population and companies face in the times of COVID19. 200M Fund invests in PICadvanced
PICadvanced is the latest investment from the 200M Fund, in a Series A financing round of € 4 million, in partnership with Verizon Ventures, Verizon Communications Inc.’s venture capital arm for investments in innovation and technology. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Ílhavo, PICadvanced is a specialist in solutions on optics using integrated photonics, since conception, packaging and integration on electrotechnology, telecommunications and biomedicine products.
