Ingredient Odyssey has created an innovative biotechnological process that uses vegetable waste from the agricultural industry. Insect larvae (black soldier fly) are added to the waste material, which through their digestive process, after 15 days, leave only organic material and the larvae become fat. Through drying and crushing procedures, the organic material and the fat larvae are transformed into 3 final products: i) organic fertilizer; ii) protein concentrate; iii) oil of animal origin.
