The Entogreen project is 200M’s new investment

The EntoGreen project, developed by Ingredient Odissey, is the most recent investment of the 200M Fund, managed by Banco Português de Fomento, which, in partnership with the private investor BlueCrow Capital, participated in an investment round that resulted in a total amount of 5.3 million euros.

This investment will allow to install in Santarém, the first large-scale industrial unit for converting organic waste from agri-food sources into secondary raw materials, namely into new nutritional sources for compound feed and organic fertilizers for soils.

Using innovative bioindustrial technology, the EntoGreen project is expected to create 66 jobs and includes a research and development unit that aims to contribute to sustainability and transition to a circular economy in the agrifood sector.
