200M Fund considered one of the most active Funds in Europe

The 200M Fund, managed by Banco Português de Fomento, was considered one of the most active funds in Europe.

The conclusion is from i5invest’s 2021 European Capital Map, a reference study on the investment ecosystem in venture capital and private equity in Europe.

Together with other major funds, 200M Fund is mentioned as one of the “Most Powerful Investment Funds Southern Europe”.

Since its opening, 200M has been strengthening its mission to promote the entrepreneurial and innovative potential of Portugal, leveraging qualified national and international private investments in high growth Portuguese startups, having already invested around 35 million euros in 17 startups, with a total public and private investment of more than 92 million euros, allowing to support around 5000 jobs.
